This custom was commissioned for N-SB.org member Kybosh. He asked me if I could recreate a pair of the Lucky Bee A.K.A. Mickeys Malt Liquor Dunk. One of his favorite dunks, which were impossible to acquire. After some discussion, we agreed to make a UN version as well.
For the UN version of the sample above, this custom was constructed with a contrasting colorway using yellow carbon fiber vinyl, Kelly Green, and Yellow Ultra Suede. The base shoe was a Marge Simpson Dunk High, whose sole matched the yellow of the vinyl and suede. The color of the embroidery was also changed to match the theme.
This custom also marked the first time I worked with an embroidery, which made it pop! Thanks to Sole Jester (of 3R customs) for getting me the embroidery commissioned locally at Orlando.
